Starting with a clear idea or a ready drawing

The process of making custom wooden packaging can start either from a detailed technical drawing or from a general idea describing the purpose and approximate dimensions. The more specific the initial information, the faster the project can move to the next step.

Clarifying dimensions and purpose

At this stage, the exact internal and external dimensions are defined based on the contents the packaging will hold, along with the closing method and any internal dividers. It is also clarified here whether the packaging is for single use or intended for repeated use.

Choosing material and surface finish

The choice between coniferous wood and limetree depends on the desired visual effect, weight and project budget. The surface finish — UV varnish or paint — is matched to the packaging's purpose and the conditions it will face during storage and transport.

Producing a sample

For larger or more complex orders, it is practical to make a sample before starting series production. This allows dimensions, closing mechanisms and the overall visual appearance to be checked before committing material to the full batch.
