Hive Frames & Beehive Components
Royal Hives manufactures a complete range of beehive components and hive frames for all major standards — Langstroth, Dadant Blatt, Farrar, and British Standard. We prefer the Hoffman frame design — named after its creator — with widened side bars, tongue-and-groove bottom bar and tongue-and-groove top bar. Side bar width is 35 mm in the widened zone for Dadant Blatt, Langstroth and Farrar frames. Our product line includes: bottom boards, brood chambers, bodies, supers, feeders, inner covers, division boards, queen excluders, and hive frames.
Materials & Durability
All our beehive woodenware is made from seasoned coniferous wood or limetree, dried to 10–12% equilibrium humidity. Finishes include precoat with waterproof UV colourless varnish or coloured waterproof paint upon client request.
