Langstroth Beehives
Royal Hives manufactures Langstroth beehives in 8 and 10 frame configurations. Consists of a flat or deep bottom board, 3 brood chambers, inner cover or feeder and a roof. Made from dried softwood (pine/spruce) up to 12% humidity. Body and bottom wall thickness between 18–35 mm depending on regional practice and customer demand. Finishes include precoat with waterproof UV varnish. Coloured paint available upon request.

Materials & Durability
All our beehive woodenware is made from seasoned coniferous wood or limetree, dried to 10–12% equilibrium humidity. Finishes include precoat with waterproof UV colourless varnish or coloured waterproof paint upon client request.
