How to formulate a precise quote request when ordering beehives wholesale to get a fast, accurate response.
Why a precise request saves time
A request that includes all necessary parameters from the start allows the manufacturer to prepare an accurate quote without several rounds of clarification. This matters especially for wholesale orders, where specification differences substantially affect total cost and lead time.
System and frame count
Specify whether the hives should be Langstroth, Dadant Blatt, Farrar, British Standard or nucleus, and whether they should have 8, 10 or 12 frames. If part of the order includes custom sizes, list the exact dimensions separately.
Wall thickness and material
State the desired wall thickness in the 18-35 mm range and your preferred wood species — dried coniferous wood or limetree. If you are buying for different climate zones or beekeeping styles, you may need different specifications within a single order.
Surface finish
Specify whether the hives should have UV colourless varnish or coloured waterproof paint, and if applicable, a specific colour or colour scheme to visually distinguish batches.
Quantity and logistics
State the total quantity, desired timeframe, and delivery address, or your intention to arrange transport from the Sofia workshop yourself. This information allows the manufacturer to assess a realistic production schedule.
